Even More Easter Resources
Posted by Greg Atkinson under Companies, FREE, Greg's Favorites, Holidays, Intros and AnnouncementsMy friends at eleven72 just came out with a new Easter video. I dig it. It’s kind of got a YouTube vibe to it. Check it out HERE. This video would be a great discussion starter. While you’re there, be sure to download their monthly freebie, which includes 2 motion backgrounds and 2 Easter stills - did I mention they are FREE?
Also new for Easter is this cool intro video from my friends at Floodgate Productions. This would be cool to have playing on the screen(s) while people are coming in. Check it out HERE. While you’re there, check out all their Easter resources.
Another tool to have in your Easter toolbox is the new Visual Easter from my boys at WorshipFilms. I called one of the owners the other day just to thank him for blazing a trail in church media (they offer their products in both SD and HD versions). I think that is blogworthy. We are months out from going into our new worship center, which will feature 16:9 widescreens.
I’m looking all over for content that is made for 16:9/widescreen. NOTE: HD is 16:9, but 16:9 is not necessarily HD. I applaud WorshipFilms for offering their products in both formats and strongly encourage other media producers (who I know read this blog) to follow their example. START OFFERING CONTENT IN 16:9 FORMAT, TOO!!!
Visual Easter is a new Easter resource featuring a great selection of backgrounds, a countdown, 2 long plays and 4 sermon illustrations. Check it out!

Hey Greg,
We, too, are following WorshipFilms lead. Everything we produce this year will be HD. We will also include an SD (standard version) for everything as well. Our first HD ready product, Igniter Videos, Volume 5, comes out in less than a month.

I definitely agree about producing HD. I began producing media for church use almost a year ago. Everything I produce begins at HD resolution. I mean why not? When you are producing graphical media, there really is no reason why you shouldn’t. It looks great and it is so easy to convert down from HD for those who need SD. I echo your sentiments that more Christian Media producers and Christian Media websites who offer their wares should begin offering HD content!
