We do mostly video because of us having multiple campuses and venues. We have three campuses and our main campus has three venues. Until we figure out cloning (theological pun and social issue) we will have to stick with video.

Before our two newer campuses opened we did live and video depending on how comfortable the person was with speaking to a large audience.

btw, Highlands Fellowship is where I am on staff @

Greg,

That's amazing that someone would step up and give a live testimony like she did. That was very brave - and I'm sure that it ministered to many women - and men, as well.

Yesterday at my church we had a videotaped testimony of a woman who was on a DART train, and engaged a man in conversation. The man is in America on a student visa and is now attending a small group at our church. Anyway, he was on the video as well, and ended by saying, "I want to give my life to Christ, but I'm not quite there, but I will get there. It was just great hearing his honesty. The series we're in is "Just Walk Across the Room", based on the book by Bill Hybels.

We do a mix of live and video testimonies at encounter. If it's going to be a shorter testimony or a group of people speaking on a topic we usually use video. But during two different times, we've done a series where our pastor interviews members of our church and discusses what God is doing with them.
They've been our most talked about messages/series as well as our most popular podcasts (look for storm chasers on our podcast page)
