Where’s All My Leopards?
Posted by Church Video Ideas under Churches, Funny, Products, Software, Web 2.0Okay, let’s hear it. How many of you have already purchased Apple’s new Leopard? I’m also curious as to how many of you (like some of my friends) were standing in a long line waiting Friday afternoon to get one of the first copies?
EXTRA:
Don’t forget: You’ve got just a few more days to get all of Highway Video’s DVDs for 50% off. Click HERE to stock up your media library!
BONUS:
For all of you “The Office” fans - Did you see Dwight on Second Life? It reminded me of LifeChurch.tv’s Second Life campus, which you can check out HERE. What did you think of Dwight flying around?

I bought Leopard for our whole department. I waited in line for about 10 minutes on the first day and got the t-shirt. I installed it and all seems well so far.

We have it on order, should be in tomorrow. One of our guys installed it over the weekend, with no problems yet.

I’ll be getting two family packs of Leopard soon (I have 9 Macs in my dept. & one @ home). The online demo is so totally worth sitting through. There are several features that I’ll implement immediately. BTW, I’m ready for Dwight & Angela to get back together, so that the moping, whimpering, sulking version of Dwight can go away, and the overly self-confident Dwight (the Dwight K. Shrute I have come to absolutely adore) can make a triumphant return! Season three was a bit of a letdown for me, but my show is back!

Got it. Installed it. Love it. I must have 200 Pdf files on my hard drive. I can now search them, preview them and then open them. Love it.

I have it coming from the up to date program. But Adobe video apps and ProTools are not compatable yet. And I use AE and ProTools on a weekly basis. So until they get updated I’ll be keeping the cat in the box.

I really want to upgrade, but I am going to have to wait alittle longer

I’ve got it installed on my MBP. We have it for all of the other machines in the office, but haven’t installed it yet. I’m not having any trouble even with AfterEffects, but it’s only been a couple of days.

Installed Leo on my MBP and Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 wouldn’t work. So I had to bite the bullet and upgrade to Studio 2, which I needed to do anyway. No problems now!

I’ve got the family pack on order, but I’ll hold off upgrading until I’m done with the Christmas project. I intend to install it on a spare external drive just to try it out first.
