Congratulations with the new sanctuary. We are going to be getting into our new sanctuary the second week of February. I was excited until I was told earlier today that our new techie Media Room equipment budget has been cut from $35,000 to $0. Our pastors and elders have a weekend retreat starting Thursday and I basically have until Thursday at 12pm to put together a list of reasons why the equipment is necessary. We currently are operating an E-machine that was supposed to be "temporary for one year" for two and a half years. We use Easy worship with this machine and as I explain to the leadership, the dual display graphics card cost more than e-machine. I have been asked to provide a list of "Temporary Items" to replace what we had budgeted. We are making the switch from PC to Mac (one word Vista) and now I am at a loss. If you had a minimal budget, an awesome room, what would you put in it? The following are items that we currently do and items that I have been requested to provide: Lyrics with ProPresenter3 (or EasyWorship if we stick with PC), Pre-service Promos, In-service announcement aids, in-service graphics and videos, Video Production to DVD, digital audio of sermons, and my favorite "whatever else we can think of later". Oh, by the way... if that wasn't all, it is to be operated for the first six weeks by me (hopefully I can get volunteers by then). Any advice would be grateful. Bryan Not a Problem.
