For the past several months I’ve been telling my family (and especially my wife), “Just let me make it through the first service in our new building” - THEN “Just let me make it through Easter”. No more. I have come to my end and will be straight chilling this week. I’m not going to do anything. No blog. No cell phone. No email. Just me and my family. Pray that God would refresh, renew and restore me, personally, as well as my relationship with my family. Pray that I can return to my job with a fresh passion, vision and energy. God give me rest!

Great decision Greg. I think most of us feel the same way! I get Monday and Tuesday off which means next weekend’s services will be “off the cuff” with no practices. Every ministry high point needs to be paired with a “take it easy” time, right? It’s all about balance.

It sound like a crazy week this past week. I’m glad you are taking a much needed break. For some people, its not easy to unplug. Prayers are for days of refreshing…..
