Great to hear from you again, Greg! Thanks for the links. I will share these with our Ministers this weekend. I find that inspiration comes to me in the small things. For example, your story about taking your son to the Rangers game. That was absolutely awesome and I have shared it with so many people. With all the things we hear about pro-sports, it is good that the owners/managers take the time to talk to the kids. I would have been excited to just walk the bases on a losing game! Maybe some of that comes from being a high school teacher. You got to celebrate little victories or you will never feel like you are making any headway with the kids. Our Father is the Great Creator...what better inspiration is there.

Thanks for the link Greg. Scott and the Ethos3 team are doing some really good stuff. This is a great example of what they do.

Awesome links! Thanks.

I get inspired by lots of things around me, but may need to be more intentional w/ my inspiration.

We did some cool exercises at Conspire this last weekend that showed me something about creativity in storytelling: bounds. Given some elements, I was able to come up w/ a funny story. Given free reign, it's often hard.

A friend told me about a teacher that gave an assignment to write about a small town he had a picture of. The results were poor. He assigned to write about a certain building. Still not great. He assigned to write about a certain brick in the building and the results were great.

I'm not sure how that applies here, but I thought of it.

I'm inspired by movies about musicians. I don't know what it is. That just does it for me.
Think: The Temptations, August Rush, Once (despite the language).

Greg,

Great stuff as usual!

As for inspiration, I watch what pop culture is doing and see how it might be used to reach others. Then on the COMPLETE flipside, I'm awed simply by God's creation. There is so much inspiration in what God has created for us to enjoy. It may sound like nonsense, but there is beauty in the simplicity in the complexity of God's creation. It's a challenge to me. Be creative, present key messages but remain simple.

Great video!!.. That video should be REQUIRED viewing by all presenters, corporate or church.
